  • With a late fee of 200/- the last date of filling the NIOS Admission form is 1st August to 15th August

  • With a late fee of 700/- the last date of filling the form is 1st September to 15th September
  • The Examination for the concerned form/NIOS Admission will occur in April 2019.

Qualification required for NIOS Admission

NIOS Admission allows to give the 10th and 12th without attending the school, one can just prepare for the exams directly, but there are certain conditions to be eligible for the exam. Below are some important points regarding NIOS Online Admission.

  • To appear the 10th examination, candidates need to show their class 8th passing certificate, attested from a gazetted officer
  • Candidates need to be 14 years old as of July of the same year
  • To appear for class 12th examination candidate must have passed the secondary examination. i.e. 10th examination
  • Candidates need to be 15 years of age as on the date of 31st August of the same year
  • For class 10th and 12th, NIOS Board conducts the examination twice in a year, one at the time of April/May and other in October/November
  • NIOS Admission has four basic stream, Stream 1 is common for all learners. Block 1 Admission takes place on the month of March to July whereas Block 2 Admission happens from September to January.

How to apply for NIOS Admission

  • On the official site, you will find a link with an offline application form
  • Click on the link and download the application form. Visit the site and download it from there and take a printout of it
  • After taking a printout, you need to fill the application form and put your signature, wherever required
  • After that, you need to affix all the required documents and put your signature wherever required
  • When successfully competed with the filling process, attach the Demand Draft and send the application form to the Address of the NIOS Board.
