The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared class 10thresult 2018, today. Maharashtra SSC Result 2018 has been released on the official website-  In 2017, about 1766098  students registered for the SSC examination. Out of it, 16 89 239 appeared for the first time while for the rest it was the second attempt. In 2017, there were 4728 exam centers for 989908 female and 776190 male candidates.

The Maharashtra SSC Result 2018, is available online. The overall pass percentage for the Maharashtra SSC Result 2018 is 89.41%. Konkan tops amongst districts with 96% pass percentage, while the lowest pass percentage was 85.97%, which was for Nagpur.

In 2018, across nine divisions in the state, around 1636250 students registered for 10th class examination; 1456203 students passed, out of 1628613 who appeared. The pass percentage is 89.41% with almost 14 lakh students passing the examination.

This year the pass percentage for female students is 91.97% which is more than the male counterpart. The total number of registration, for female students, was 745408.  742507 appeared for the examination, out of which 682864 female students passed. While the pass percentage of male students in this year is 87.27%; the total number of registration was: 890842. The number of students who appeared was 886106, out of which 773339 students passed.

This year, there were eight separate incidents of paper-leak reported. The board, however, insisted that the paper-leak was in control and refused to hold re-examination for any of the papers. State Board of Maharashtra recruited more squads for checking the exam centers to curb any form of malpractice during the HSC and SSC exams.

Tips to Score Well in 10TH Board Examination

Explore the syllabus exhaustively: Follow your class lessons properly to cover the complete syllabus in a systematic manner. The class lessons are probably the first introduction of the topics to you. After coming back home, revise whatever is taught in the class, as the topics will still be fresh in your mind. In case of doubts, clarify it with your teacher the next day.

Solve last year question paper: Try and solve the questions at the end of each topic and also cover the last ten years’ papers. If you are stuck, make sure to get it resolved the next day. Take help from teachers and seniors, as and when required.

Maintain separate notebooks and notes for each subject: Make notes for important topics and formulae that you come across while studying. This will help while revising before the exams as you can grab the subject notebook and revise the portion you need to. Highlight important points: At the time of preparation, highlight important points and formulae on textbooks and reference books to locate them easily in future. Revise the notes regularly.

It can be early in the morning or late at night. Do not allow any distraction while you are studying. Select a good study space that you feel is the most suitable and effective.

Revise well before exam: Do not study anything new or from a new book, right before the examination, as you may get confused. Revise what you have studied and scan through important notes and formulae. Make the proper collection of notes of important formulae and topics. Make a weekly and monthly revision plan once you have completed the entire syllabus.

Keep yourself fit: Eat healthy food and take rest. And make sure you are also finding some time for playing and re-energizing yourself.
